An Arizona man could face possible jail time for a charge relating to his refusal to stop feeding feral cats, authorities said.

The town passed an ordinance in 2018 banning residents from feeding feral cats on town property, ABC Phoenix affiliate KNXV reported.
Rodriguez then moved his feeding location across a street to circumvent the ordinance, according to the station.
In May 2019, Rodriguez was arrested and charged with providing false information to a police officer after claiming he had received permission from the property owners to feed the cats at that location, Currasco said.

The Phoenix police must have nothing better to do with their time a. To arrest a man for feeding cats to keep them from starving!!! IF this is such a terrible thing in the mimds of some wealthy neighborhood they should pay to have the cats captured and sent to a HUMANE shelter and adopted out . . .
These cats did mit chose to be homeless . . . Some idiot people abandon them to,this wild lifestyle!!!
