Article from Fox News by David Montanaro.
Sen. Rand Paul does not agree with Rep. Justin Amash – a fellow libertarian Republican – that the House of Representatives should move forward with the impeachment of President Trump.
Amash, R-Mich., made headlines in recent weeks for his lengthy Twitter threads laying out his argument for impeachment based on the Mueller report.
Paul, R-Ky., said on “America’s Newsroom” Thursday that he takes the opposite view from Amash, seeing the origins of the Russia investigation as being “un-libertarian.”

“I think they took this great power we entrusted with them to spy on foreigners and they directed it against Americans for partisan reasons. So, I think this has to be investigated and I think it’s wrong for any Republican to think, ‘Oh gosh, this is a legitimate investigation.’ I think it’s a very partisan investigation.”

I am sure you have the old saying that 2020 hindsight is always accurate. Wait until the left sees what happens in 2020.
Why is Amash a republican????
No impeachment for Our Great President Trump-!!! The Best President Ever-!!!
100% correct!!!! With you all the way Marlene!!!
Since the liberal fools have the majority in the House, they can impeach Trump, if they all hang together. They do have the votes. HOWEVER, there is no chance that he will be convicted by the Senate, so all this is just Kabuki Theater designed to make the liberal snowflakes feel that they have done something. Bill Clinton was impeached, rightly, for his violations of law, for lying under oath, and other things(it was NOT about the intern and the sex). But of course, the democrat senators sat on their hands and refused to convict him. Mitch McConnell has made it clear that any impeachment papers would be dealt with in short order. In other words, they will be dismissed as quickly as possible. McConnell does not want any more showboatting by the democrats on his time.
The same question applies to the late John McCain.
