Broward County sheriff’s deputies were called to a popular teen meet-up area, a McDonald’s parking lot, Thursday afternoon. The police were there ostensibly to breakup a fight, not start one.

The victim left the scene in an ambulance, blood covering his face.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office is “investigating the incident to determine exactly what happened, how it started, how it escalated and they’re looking at the outcome of it,” a police spokesperson told The Miami New Times. But bashing a person’s head against hard concrete is never appropriate, regardless of which party escalated the encounter. The officers involved could have killed this young man, and they should face serious consequences.

Need to know more information besides fact that there were a lot of teens loudmouthing the police!
I agree – all of these partial clips do not tell the whole story as we have seen many times before. If you do not want to be treated like a thug (and it appears there were many youngsters in this crowd), then do not behave like one or hang out with those that act that way or egg them on. most of these people bring this on themselves – only they can help themselves to a better respectful life. You are as you behave.
When we find out what started it all we will probably see some young punks who thought they could act all macho and disrespect the police in front of their friends instead of complying with the directions from the officers. Everyone wants to film that “Gotcha” moment, but we never see what led up to the event and what escalated it all.
Kids are really disrespectful today and will do most anything to intimidate the law.
The police have their hands tied unless they take the law into their hands. That’s why they have the jobs that they have. As far as I’m concerned, they are underpaid to have to put up with these young thugs.
Still no reason for a police officer to bash a person’s (child or adult) head against the concrete. Nothing else matters. Hell, tase the person but no head smashing on the concrete.
Just more dindus dis-obeying the directions of the PO-LEECE. But then, we all know how cowardly the Broward Co. Poleece are! LOLOLOLO!!!!
No matter what they think, we are not the police’s slaves. I hope that these cops are charged with attempted murder, prosecuted, and if convicted, sent away for a very long time. No matter what you tell a cop, he should not free to bash your head into the concrete.
The young PUNK got what he deserved. Comply to the Police. Hopefully he’ll have learned a lesson. I back the boys in blue.
Most of my wife’s family are “the boys in blue” NONE of them would do this. There was no reason to smash his face into the road,
I know a lot of police officers, all of them would go after the officer who did what this one did. That was uncalled for! After 20 years of various martial arts I KNOW there are submission holds that would stop this person and NOT require smashing his face into the street.
I believe any Officer shown throwing his hands should be laid off.We need Controlled strength to Nullify any on going Actions.
It is early! It is in Florida.
