Another cake stand-off in Colorado—this time about a transgender celebration cake—appears to be coming to an end, with both sides agreeing to walk away.
Masterpiece Bakeshop of Lakewood, Colo., became a household name when owner Jack Phillips scrapped with the Colorado Civil Rights Commission after he refused to make a wedding cake for a gay couple due to religious objections to same-sex marriage.
The case made it all the way to the Supreme Court, where the justices dodged the larger issue of whether the act of making a cake is a form of free expression protected by the First Amendment. Instead, the justices ruled in a 7-2 decision that the Colorado Civil Rights Commission had not been a neutral arbiter examining the rights of all parties involved, and had, in fact, expressed hostility toward Phillips’ religious rights in its decision.
While that case was making its way up the courts, a transgender attorney contacted Phillips claiming she wanted to have a custom cake made to celebrate her identity, saying she wanted one with a blue exterior and pink interior.

There is no such thing as “transgender” the few that are truly confused have mental problems that need psychiatric help. Claiming that one, although male, at times feels more female is more of a fad or, in many cases, a degenerate or pedophile. I would like to see this female lawyer who claims to be a transgender ( or probably a troublemaker) make her way into a male occupied bathroom.
I think it’s very Queer that a baker can’t decide who he wants to wants to work for without a load of BS.
They just want special treatment. I dont give a damn who or what they are, Just dont make me have to swallow it. They do have a mental problem, thats what should be looked into. Dont make me like you, I will if I want to, but dont insist. And thats what you are working toward. Knock it off.
As a business owner you have the right to refuse service to anyone.
Did you just make a new rule?
You have no right to demand somebody works for you or performs special services for you the same way that the business owner cannot demand you patronize their business. That’s common sense, something the left has a severe lack of.
Transgender’s should all put a gun to their head and pull the trigger problem solved they will rest in hell or they belong
This is what happens when you legalize queer marriage. The freaks all come out of the woodwork, and they will force you to condone, promote and celebrate their psychological defects. Social rot is infesting our country. Time to fight back. Hey if you are queer or a transgender psycho, keep it to yourself. The real world doesn’t care about you, and we aren’t going to bend to your will.
