A former top NYPD official is set to plead guilty to charges related to a sweeping corruption probe that included officers allegedly accepting trips abroad, jewelry and sex with a prostitute from shady businessmen, The Post has learned.
Retired Deputy Chief Michael Harrington will cop to criminal charges later Thursday in Manhattan federal court and faces up to 10 years behind bars, sources said.
Harrington did not sign a cooperation agreement, the sources added. It’s not clear which charges he’ll plead guilty to.
The trial for Harrington and co-defendants Deputy Inspector James Grant and businessman Jeremy Reichberg is set for April 30.
